Vince Ciotti is the co-founder and principal with the consulting firm HIS Professionals, LLC. In its 20 years of providing IT consulting to hospitals, HIS Pros has assisted over 300 hospitals in assessing, planning for, selecting and negotiating contracts for HIS systems.

Mr. Ciotti spent 15 years providing IT consulting to The Hunter Group and Navigant Consulting, and has seen every HIS vendors’ system in actual operation, in both “ turnaround” situations, as well as successful implementations. He has been a frequent speaker at national conferences such as ACHE, HFMA and HIMSS, and has contributed numerous articles to industry journals.

His 40 years of experience in the health care industry includes 15 years working for leading HIS vendors in marketing and implementation, so he knows both sides of the challenges hospitals face in selecting and implementing systems.
